Deep Freeze 2008

This is just a sneak peak into our life for a few day. A bad ice storm went through on December 18th. By the morning of the 19th we didn't have any power. Our whole town was in a black out. We ran into Fort Wayne to see if there was anything we could use to heat the house. No luck, everyone else had the same idea. It was pretty scary, especially when AEP was saying no one would have power until Wednesday!! Chad (my wonderful and amazing husband) was able to rig up something that ran off his car battery to keep the house warm. But we had to camp out for few days in the living room. We shut off the rest of the house. I've never seen so much ice in my life. But we made the best of it.
