All In the Family

This is an early peak at the photos my family had taken at Chain O Lakes State Park. It has been at least 9 years since my brothers and sister and I have gotten together for a big picture. Now we have expanded. I am so excited and thrilled we did these pictures. I can't wait to see the rest when they are done.

Family Pictures

I have 2 brothers and a sister. All of us are now married or are engaged to be married. Along with these marriages have come beautiful children. All together now there are 12 of us. It has been a good 9 years since our family had pictures together. Today we all met up at Chain O Lakes State Park. We have many memories there as kids growing up. So when it came time to pick where we wanted to do a group picture, it was a no brainier. A wonderful lady by the name of Vilma took our photos. She did a great job. I can't wait to see all the pictures she took and to share them with all of you. I am sharing a few of my own I took from this day. The weather couldn't have been more wonderful. The kids were great. And everyone laughed and had a great time.

Memorial Day at the Lake

I love being on the lake. Saturday we went to Chad's dads house to spend the day at the lake and soak up all the sun we could get. Austin and Chad took a canoe ride. Jenny and I through about a Frisbee. There's nothing like spending time with the family

The Rehearsal Dinner

The day we made it to Minnesota we had a rehearsal dinner to make it to. It was so wonderful. We were along a beautiful lake looking out over the water. Jacob had a blast playing down by the water, Austin however, was still very sick. He tired to have fun with it by covering up with a mask. This just got everyone making "napkin animals". Jenny went to town trying. I'd say he did a great job.

On The Road

Last weekend my family and I took a road trip to Minnesota for a wedding and vacation. This road trip took us almost 11 hours to accomplish. Along the way Austin became sick. My little man started running a fever. He was a real trooper though. We saw this beautiful rock form in Wisconsin.

Happy Mother's Day

This is my mommy! Austin and I spent a relaxing afternoon at her house before Austin treated me to dinner for Mother's Day!

My Little Man

As much as I would love for my little man to stay a little boy, this weekend I was reminded how much he is growing up. Austin watched me get my hair highlighted this weekend and asked if he could have his done. So, not wanting to be the "mean over protective" mom I told him he sure could. He told me he wanted to look "good" for the wedding we are attending in Minnesota this week.

I must admit he looks so handsome, but I am sad thinking about how much he's grown. Pretty soon he won't need his mommy anymore. I'm so glad I have taken every chance I have with him and built all the great memories I have with him. I love you Austin!!!

Weekend in Michigan

Chad and I went to Michigan last weekend to look at a little Yorkie puppy I was hoping to buy. It didn't work out how I had planned. But we decided to go golfing for awhile. Chad has great form, I however don't! I'd rather drive the cart and take pictures.
We headed to Four Winds Casino after that. What a wonderful time. I love getting away with Chad!

Singin' Fools

OK, so I really don't know what we were doing, but we were having fun doing it. Sugarland songs were playing in the CD player and we broke loose! (don't do this at home) We were singing and posing for pictures as we were on our way home. Austin, bless him, was singing at the top of his lungs. Jacob was doing his best but he was liked posing for shots instead. And myself, I just tried to drive and pose. I was laughing so hard I was crying. I love being around my two boys!

A Day With The Boys

The first two pictures are of the boys being silly at Carlos O Kelly's. As soon as I got out the camera they both started having fun with it. They are so much fun to be around.
The last two pictures are what happen when we got home. The silliness didn't stop at the restaurant. Both boys wanted to know what would happen when the turned the hose on in the swim trunks. *I think their expressions tell it all*

Austin's 1st Soccer Game of 2009

Austin's first game of the year and he did awesome! His team won 6-0 and he scored one of those points! I look forward to watching many more games this year.

My Nephew, Aydan's, 2nd Birthday Party

My little nephew turned 2 this month. I have never seen a little kid at this age get so excited about his birthday. The weather was wonderful and everyone had a great time.

The New Tin Caps

Chad and I went to one of the first Tin Caps baseball games. The place is amazing. You don't feel like your in Fort Wayne. Tarrah and her husband Chris came along. We have season tickets and I look forward to all the wonderful games this summer.
